Why does my car hesitate at low speeds before accelerating?

My car has 38,000 miles.
The CVT transmission has a hesitation only on low speed acceleration.
I already had it check out by a dealer who told me that nothing is wrong.
But — only at low speeds — its hesitation very noticeable. Then it takes off quickly.
What can I do to have this fixed or is it something I need to live with?
Please help. This is a great vehicle!
Thanks for your time

Answer:
It may be a great vehicle but it has a problem and the manufacturer’s service needs improvement.
Have a qualified technician check out the ECM. That’s the computer that processes several dynamic inputs and uses the results to tell the transmission when to shift.
